Based at Lake Takapō, BeSpoke Bike Tours can design your Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail tour based on your timeframe and budget, offering package tours between October and April.

BeSpoke Bike Tours specialises in small group tours with a maximum of eight people. We have flexibility around tour planning. We can do it all for you, or you design your tour, rent our bikes and avail of our shuttle service. We also offer a relocation service for your vehicle along the Trail. We have a range of options for you to choose from on the trail, specialising in the Alpine trail sections.

Cycle Journeys

The Musterers Hut Cafe and Gift Shop

Enjoy our fabulous fresh home made fare made daily, along with our incredible Organic, Fair Trade Switch Espresso Coffee. Enjoy the relaxed retro atmosphere with genuine original retro formica tables and chairs. Or relax in the lounge chairs in front of the roaring fire on the cooler days.

We also have a boutique gift shop offering locally made arts and crafts, and alongside, an 18-hole Mini-Golf course, the holes themed to locations in the Twizel area.

Kurow Museum & Info Centre

First opened in 1970, Kurow Museum has attracted visitors both domestically and internationally.

Our displays include Waitaki life since the arrival of Waitaha people, arrival of Europeans, the construction of Waitaki, Aviemore and Benmore Dams and the development of agriculture in both the Waitaki and Hakataramea Valleys. Through photographs, written stories and visual displays, our stories reflect us all.

Martyn's Cycles

Martyns Cycles in Ōamaru is New Zealand's oldest cycle shop, operated by the same family since 1913. They sell a range of new bikes and provide accessories and servicing, readying your bike for the Trail.

Presence On Harbour

Presence on Harbour, located directly on the Cycle Trail within Ōamaru's Historic Precinct, offers a wide variety of clothing, New Zealand produced handcrafts, artwork and giftware - including a range of Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail branded souvenir items.
