Thanks for an outstanding experience – we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Scenery to die for! A bucket list adventure every kiwi that can ride should do. Loved the newly opened section from Omarama. Great accommodation, loved the hosts, nothing was a problem. We will be back again to cycle in autumn or spring at some stage, plus really keen on West Coast trails too at some point.

RuthAlps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail

I cannot praise Cycle Journeys enough and we loved every part of the trip. I don’t know how you manage it all so well. The extras such as Scenic Waterways, Treetops Walkway, and the Hokitika Gorge were all beyond spectacular. The Hoki staff were inspirational and enthusiastic, the bikes totally suited, and staying at Cowboys was an interesting experience. I would like to ride with you again one day, so will keep in touch. Good on you CJs!!

RossWest Coast Wilderness Trail

A huge thanks to your team for our fabulous trip. We even managed to dodge all the freaky weather and had stunning views of Mt Cook the evening we were there! Julia from Braemar spoilt us with salmon or steak and rhubarb crumble – it was a major highlight staying at Braemar! And the other treasure of a place, was Frank’s Tokerahi Huts – wow! Everyone was moaning that I’d made them cycle an extra 12k but said it was worth it to stay there! The new section from Sailors Cutting around Lake Benmore is stunning and not to be missed! Parts of the track were battered from the storm and Kurow to Oamaru but it added to our fun!! The mechanics at Twizel were fab too and we loved our e- bikes! Thanks CYCLE JOURNEYS!!!

FionaAlps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail

It is difficult to find words to tell you how splendid, spectacular the A2O cycle journey was from beginning to end. The Cycle Journey’s staff were fantastic and so accommodating. We had one oops – screws and bracket came off one our bikes part way around Lake Ohau. I phoned Cycle Journeys in Twizel, and Jared was most helpful – I sent him photos of parts missing/required. When getting to the Lodge, Shel in admin went to the trouble of contacting a friend who was in Twizel who agreed to pick up parts and deliver to us next morning. We were back on track in no time. We are so grateful for your efforts to ensure we had the best of times. Your itinerary and choices for us were perfect. Thanks again Libby to you and your team.
