Point of difference

The Huts - Tokarahi are a unique accommodation development set in a secluded garden looking out at the beautiful vista of surrounding hills, limestone bluffs & open farmland

Directions from nearest town

The Huts are convently located halfway between Kurow and Oamaru and are just 4km from the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail and 2km from Tokarahi.

The huts were bespoke built by one of Oamaru's finest craftsmen using salvaged materials from the original villa that once stood on the site. The villas original fireplaces and chimneys have been incorporated into two of the Huts.

Seven huts are available providing accommodation for up to 14 people, five have super-king beds which can be split, one has twin beds and one has a double bed.

The Huts are fully insulated and have a panel heater (if needed) as well as an additional electrical socket. Each hut has its own small cold water sink which is located just outside.

The large communal kitchen and dining room has been set up in the historic 1870's limestone building. Adjoining this is the shower and toilet block, tastefully rebuilt in what was once the shearing shed.

The Huts are part of an operating 200ha farm and the farm owner will also be your host who will be on hand to greet you on arrival.

Included in your stay is a continental breakfast and two course evening meal. Complimentary tea/coffee is also provided.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
