Situated in the grounds of the historic ex-policeman’s residence built in 1908, Constable’s Cottage bed and breakfast in Duntroon was the Police Station from the 1950’s. It is completely separate from the main house, which is the home of your hosts Rachel and Barry Gard.
The self-contained cottage is bright and sunny. It is equipped with a brand new ensuite bathroom, a spacious bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, a fridge, microwave,television with freeview, heating, free wi-fi, indoor and outdoor dining areas, for you to enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast.
We are located very close to where the cycle trail comes into Duntroon. A stone’s throw from the historic Nicol’s Blacksmith, and a short stroll to the Vanished World Fossil Centre.
Relax after a day cycling the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail in your very own completely private outdoor bath under the beautiful southern night sky. Bathrobes and towels are provided, complete with bubble bath! A small fee applies.
Wander around our extensive garden and relax in one of the seated areas. An evening meal can be arranged ($40 per person for 2 courses) by contacting us prior to your arrival. Payment for meals on arrival. Packed lunches are also available on request. Price is $15 per person.
