North Otago Motor Group has been renting vehicles in North Otago since 2001. We can offer Alps 2 Ocean riders transport options to suit most needs, one-way hires and trail drop-offs by arrangement. Come talk to our friendly team and let us help you experience the Alps 2 Ocean with your very own support vehicle. Enjoy the ride!

2 x shuttle trailers

We have a bike shuttle trailer that can take approx 8 bikes plus gear, or more bikes inside.

There is also a Hiace cargo van 2003 with commercial roof racks suitable for shifting bikes without the need for trailer.

The Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail is a grade 2-3 (easy to intermediate) cycle trail. There are a variety of trail surfaces. Riders are advised to take certain essentials with them (e.g. first aid, repair kit, water, food). Parts of the trail pass through alpine environments, where conditions can change.

Located in the South Island of New Zealand, halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown, is the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail. It is recommended that you start your ride from Aoraki/Mt Cook - though there are numerous access points along the trail from which to start or end your ride.
