Cycle Ventures is based in Oamaru, the ocean end of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail.

We’ve done the hard yards and have everything set up so you can enjoy our region's amazing wilderness with cycletours, helibiking and rock climbing. We love this place, and know it as only a local can. Our tours have your comfort in mind and provide you with quailty accomodation, food and mind blowing experiences.

The A2O Full Tour allows you to spend seven days enjoying the breathtaking scenery, meeting the locals, and experiencing the best the region has to offer. Its fully inclusive so sit back and relax knowing everything is taken care of!

The A20 Express offers you the same great service and hospitality but allows you to experience the Alps 2 Ocean trail in just 4 days.

The A2O Daytrippers gives those east coast passerbys an opportunity to spend a day on the trail.

The Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail is a grade 2-3 (easy to intermediate) cycle trail. There are a variety of trail surfaces. Riders are advised to take certain essentials with them (e.g. first aid, repair kit, water, food). Parts of the trail pass through alpine environments, where conditions can change.

Located in the South Island of New Zealand, halfway between Christchurch and Queenstown, is the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail. It is recommended that you start your ride from Aoraki/Mt Cook - though there are numerous access points along the trail from which to start or end your ride.
